I agree that M$ do not know how to make consoles. And i agree that the Xbox was basically a PC.
But it was an extemely powerful console for the time. And it was quality. Its wasn't some cheap bit of tat like the gamecube or the PS2 slim. This thing oozed power and quality. Right down to the brake-away cables.
Say what you will about the aweful orginal Xbox controller, or the ugly case design, but you can't fault the hardware.
